Scooter

LINK is the industry’s most advanced shared electric scooter, engineered by Superpedestrian, the leading micromobility tech company spun out of MIT.

Safety by Design

LINK scooters were engineered for durability and validated to withstand 10× the bumps and 4× the stress of industry requirements.

LINK scooters stop 37% faster than competing standard vehicles. Three independent braking systems provide the most reliable and safest braking experience.

LINK scooters were designed with a wider deck and lower center of gravity. This makes balancing easier, so the LINK scooter is accessible to more riders.

Active Safety Technology

LINK scooters perform electronics system safety checks before every ride. Unsafe vehicles are immediately taken out-of-service and cannot be ridden.

The onboard Vehicle Intelligence platform continuously monitors internal systems and can prevent 100+ types of electronics failures within nanoseconds.

Advanced encryption at the vehicle and cloud levels keeps LINK scooters secure.

Sustainability

2,500 ride lifetime.

LINK scooters have been rigorously tested to last on the roads for five times as long as the industry average vehicle. This longer scooter lifetime means LINK produces far less waste from manufacturing and distribution.

90 km (55 mi) range.

A 90 km battery range allows for longer rides and less frequent charging. This enables fewer technician touches and more frequent scooter availability.

Constantly improving.

Over-the-air (OTA) software updates allow LINK scooter fleets to improve with more miles on the road. The vehicles collect data used to fine-tune city-specific geofence mapping, demand modeling, and predictive maintenance algorithms.

Geofencing

LINK scooters store city maps and geofence rules directly on the vehicle. The scooter checks its GPS location against the onboard maps and immediately enforces geofences. This innovation allows LINK to bypass the phone-to-cloud enforcement lag.

Cities

LINK collaborates with cities to provide safe and compliant micromobility options. We believe it is critical to work hand-in-hand with regulators to provide a successful service.

Tech-enabled Compliance

Superpedestrian’s patented Vehicle Intelligence platform is embedded in each LINK scooter. This unique platform enables full customization of scooter behavior to meet regulations in any community.
